St Peter's Church, St Peter's Road, Croydon

Welcome to St Peter's Church.

A broad cross-section of the local community have been meeting here for Christian worship in the Anglican tradition for over 150 years.

Like other Christians we believe that God has come to meet us through the words of the Bible and the sacramental symbols of the Bread and Wine. St Peter's is a church for everyone regardless of race, colour, status, wealth, education or difference. Married, single, divorced or separated - there is a place for all within the love of God, and within our church family.

Coffee, tea, squash and biscuits are served at the back of the church after the 11.00 service.  Please stay for a chat if you can, we will be pleased to get to know you.

Whilst there are yellow lines and controlled parking around the church, on Sundays there are currently no controls.  However, WHEN YOU PARK PLEASE CHECK THE SIGNS.

The young people of the church (Pebbles) meet in Church House at 11.00.  However, they join the main service after the communion.  In addition there is an area at the back of the church where children may play during the service.

St Peter's works with St Augustine's within the Benefice of South Croydon and we have a Benefice Ministry Team of four Clergy, a Reader and two Pastoral Auxiliaries.

If you would like to talk to us, or would like one of us to visit you, you can initially contact the parish on 020 8688 4715.
