Now available in all good bookshops and at St Peters the February edition of the Parish Magazine. 

Now that fund raising for the organ has been completed the next project is the lighting of St Peters.  This project will address lighting in the church as well as the church yard.  Please look out for and support the events when they take place.

If you are interested in Lent Study groups at St Peter's please contact one of the clergy team.  In the Benefice there are two groups this one Thursday` morning and a Wednesday evening. 

Well done to the young swimmers at St Peter's who took part in the annual swimathon organised by the Rotary Club of Purley.  Between them they swam 82 lengths of the pool at Purley to raise funds for the St Peter's lighting appeal and the Rotary Club's charity for 2010.  If you haven't sponsored the children it is not too late to do so. 

Congratulations to Phillip and Melissa who passed the RSCM Bishop's Award and to Rachel and Zoe who passed the Dean's Award.  The Award ceremony will take place at Southwark Cathedral during evensong 26 September.
