|
The Benefice of
South Croydon. St Peter and St Augustine was established in 2006 and brought together in an equal
partnership, the Church of England Parish of St Augustine with the
Parish of St Peter, out of which St. Augustine's had been originally
carved in the nineteenth century. The Benefice straddles the
Brighton Road for two miles and has a resident population of 11,000. |

Between us, we offer a full programme
of Christian worship in the Anglican tradition and a variety of daily
activities to encourage community and overcome human loneliness.
Like the Divine Kingdom that Jesus made known, our churches are
meeting-places, where the commonwealth of all people is celebrated in
all our glorious differences. |
